Local Imperial and Clementine Mandarins are still the pick of the Market this week. Very strong volumes are pushing prices down on premium quality fruit.
NZ Kiwi Fruit
The first loads of New Zealand Kiwi Fruit have now arrived. The fruit is excellent quality again this year with a full range of sizes now available.
Local Cabbage
Locally grown Cabbage, Cauliflower and Broccoli have all come on in very good volumes, putting downward pressure on prices. Lettuces are holding firm at this stage with lighter volumes and variable quality.
Wanneroo Strawberries
The first of the season local Strawberries are now in the Market. The local fruit will have much better shelf life than the SA fruit that has been available until now. Sugar levels are excellent so fruit tastes great.
Kununurra Rockmelons
Kununurra melon season is now in full swing with heavy volumes of both Rockmelons and Honey Dews being picked, driving prices down. Quality of both is excellent.
Carnarvon Capsicums
Both green and red Capsicums from Carnarvon are now available. Quality has improved greatly as the new season Capsicums are hard, crunchy and sweet.
